The inquisition was mostly about eliminating the constant threat of a restive Muslim population that was endlessly causing trouble, just as it does today. It worked and worked well and Spain and Catholics should feel ZERO guilt about it.
I find it suspicious that newbie “patriot torch” comes up with this post while a cathedral is burning down in France. He is just running defense for mad dog Muslims.
