IF you're going to advance this train of thought (?) then you'll have to apply the same to the Roman Centurion who asked Jesus to heal his slave, the friends who brought the paralyzed man to Christ, and anyone else that appealed to Christ....or the Apostles for healing or other.
Maybe more Protestants should follow what she said and “Do whatever he tells you”
You think believers in Christ aren't somehow following Him in what He says to do??
We're not the ones with idols of Mary, we don't pray to Mary in clear contradiction of Scripture, we trust in the Word as being THE source of authority on issues....not relying upon the pope. Which if you frequent this forum you see a concerted effort to trash Rome's duly elected pope on a daily basis by a very small cohort.
Do you trust in Christ, and only Christ for your salvation? Are you confident in His ability to deliver on His promises?
Lastly....can you go the rest of the year without praying to anyone other than the Father or Christ?
We aren’t the ones with a fake leader wearing ornate clothing and countless gold adornments.
The Pope is as far from Christ’s example as one can be.
