The issue Rome doesn't address is the prayers are not being directed to the saints.

There is nothing in the passage from Rev 5:8 that indicates the prayers are TO the 24 elders.

Note also, there are only 24 elders who are collecting the prayers of the saints.

There is nothing in the passage remotely close to the myriad of "saints" Rome claims. A saint for this, a saint for that, etc.

To suggest otherwise is eisegesis....that is reading something into the text to justify your theology vs exegesis which is pulling the meeting out of the text.
