People think “taking God’s name in vain” means saying some curse word with God’s name in it.
The whole meaning is saying God approves (or disapproves) of something He has not explicitly say. In other words, making things up for God.

The photo at the top doesn’t look real. It looks like three separate portraits photoshopped onto a common background. I’m not saying they didn’t really meet the pope, but that this photo looks like a composite.
