The 2024 Annual Southern Baptist Convention is underway, and despite the heated debate over female pastors being had at the convention, Bart Barber let a woman preach at the convention in a flagrant disregard for Baptist polity and tradition. The preaching came in the guise of prayer, but what followed was a cultish sermonette that would have made John Hagee proud.
Some might say that having a woman lead prayer was a red flag, but regardless, when a woman walked up to the microphone with a giant Star of David necklace, what followed was what one would expect. It’s worth noting that the so-called Star of David is an occultic symbol with zero favorable references in Scripture.
Rather than head bowed eyes closed, the woman looked throughout the room as she explained that Jews are God’s chosen people and prayed over the pagan nation of Modern Israel, stylistically delivered like a New Age guru.
It was yet another example of why Paul wrote 1 Timothy 2.
Acts 7:43 And you took unto you the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Rempham, figures which you made to adore them. And I will carry you away beyond Babylon.
Amos 5:26-27 But you carried a tabernacle for your Moloch, and the image of your idols, the star of your god, which you made to yourselves. And I will cause you to go into captivity beyond Damascus, saith the Lord, the God of hosts is his name.
The people at Protestia also posted about this.
The Protestia article is ridiculous. The Star of David is NOT occultic, it is the national symbol of Israel.
I heard the Christian lady’s prayer. I heard nothing wrong with her prayer.
Women should not be pastors. Star of David isn’t Christian just like modern inhabitants of Israel are not the jews of the old testament.
I think at this point we can conclude that current southern Baptist group has abandoned the Bible, created a new God in their own Image, and can rightly be labeled a cult and delusional organization that cares more about what sinful man thinks than what God says. Th3y give baptists a bad name, and worse, cause the u saved to mock, God further.
Hopefully they Will get leadership in again who will restore biblical foundations, and who Wil, revere God enough to not change the gospel to placate th3 unsaved because SBC fear being ridiculed for taking a strong stand for God like they should.
just like modern inhabitants of Israel are not the jews of the old testament.

Looking at the Church today, I might posit that the Christians of today are not the Christians of the book of Acts.
You are 100% correct. I get along with a very select few. So many caved during covid, don’t push back on the agendas with our kids and just simply act passively towards everything. What happened to the bravery and no fear but fear of God. Girding the loins for battle. Fighting tooth and nail to protect our children and get his Word out. Everyone is too busy living their “1st” world lives and fitting in. It disgusts me.
I’m the furthest from perfect a man can get, that’s why I value so much the sacrifice Jesus made for us, and I will speak his name anywhere and stand my ground boldly. I’m not very couth most of the time, may he forgive me, but I care enough about people to talk about Jesus.
Yeah, I wasn’t even talking about the “Denominations”, but the ‘best’ Churches today.
In mens’ group, we are the Book of Acts.
Ananias and Sapphira got it last night for lying to God.
HS zapped them right there.
And the believers were respected and there was fear of God.
And people laid by the road waiting for Peter’s shadow to pass over them. Etc.
Don’t see that today. Seems like society and the Govt have taken the place of trusting in God. Well, as society and Govt are all going to hell, and we realize that all we have left is God, I expect the Church (believers) will again see activity like was in Acts.
That and real Tribulation, like Martyrdom. Not looking foward to that part.
Yes, JESUS
Phillipians 1:6
being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;
Excellent post and I agree that we will see these hard times either make or break men of God or turn them into “safety”. All we ever had was God, there never was a time when one could trust gov etc
They will go back, but that place was ovverun by usurpers, khazarians.
The people there are not descendents of Issac.
It wasn’t about allowing female pastors and such? It was just an attack on someone they don’t like?
There will be a big return. I forget when it started, but it will gain steam, that has to happen before other big events.
prayer,” by a woman pastor either. Nowhere in the article is it stated this woman is a pastor either...she might be and im against that...but thats not in this article.
so wasnt a sermon either. it was a prayer.
/\
Nothing wrong with a woman praying, need more of it if anything.
They have let the camels nose into the tent, their days are numbered just like all the other denominations that kicked God out the door in the name of tolerance and being hip with the culture of the day.
Our small towns 1st Baptist Church went liberal in the 1980’s and they are down to 40-50 members and they are elderly for the most part and it’s in its death throes. Women deacons, women pastors, the pastor goes on Facebook celebrating his drinking, gay choir leaders and Sunday school directors. What is funny is one of their female deacons confided to me that they were concerned about having a gay youth choir leader who was married to another woman. I bit my tongue but wanted to say why this point you have already accepted everything else that God is clearly against, but didn’t.
Bless her heart I can tell she is under conviction for what her church is doing and she will pop into my churches Facebook broadcasts at times and listen and our pastor pulls no punches on the Word. She just can’t get past not being allowed to be a deacon if she were to join our church. Her daughter left the 1st Baptist Church as a teenager telling her, her grandmother and the pastor women in the pulpit and as deacons was not Bible and wrong. The pastor was like bye, he didn’t care.
Stick your Antisemtism straight up your ass.
Faulse professor.
