June is the month when folks who are given over to sexual deviancy and gender confusion publicly display their disdain for the design of creation and the God who gave them life. Ironically, they have coopted the rainbow, a symbol of the Noahic covenant given by God after he destroyed the world with a flood in an act of global judgment. The state of the unregenerate hearts of men before the flood is not dissimilar to what we see in Pride celebrations this very month. Solomon described this cycle in Ecclesiastes 1:8-9:
What has been is what will be, and what has been done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun. Is there a thing of which it is said, “See, this is new”? It has been already in the ages before us.
Pastoral responses to Pride month vary from church to church. While many pastors effectively convey a Biblically faithful message on sexuality to their congregants (orthodoxy), they often struggle to convey how to practically live out their faith and oppose evil in the public square (orthopraxy).
One Kansas pastor is challenging believers to live out their faith in the public square by removing LGBTQ+ propaganda from public libraries.
In a social media post shared via multiple outlets, Pastor Kyle Lammott of Exodus Church in Wichita, Kansas, urged Christian men to gather together at their local libraries and check out all of the LGBTQ+ books, beginning with the children’s section, to “love and serve” the community during pride month.
Pastor Lammott’s efforts in his community led to the removal of more than 100 LGBTQ+ titles from the shelves and Pride month display of a local library, effectively emptying the library of LGBTQ+ propaganda for the month of June. While the efforts were successful, local library officials promised to purchase more LGBTQ+ materials “to meet demand.”
Some may find pastor Lammott’s strategy counterintuitive, as many libraries may enlarge their collections of LGBTQ+ materials. However, the movement to purge libraries of propaganda would be quite effective if Christians rose up in a coordinated effort by checking out all of the LGBTQ+ books, placing holds on books that are checked out, and maximizing the lending limits of their library cards to gridlock the system.
Many public libraries have lending limits of 50 books per patron, meaning that a dedicated group of 20 Christian men could indefinitely gridlock a thousand book collections, an act that would shield hundreds of children and adolescents from LGBTQ+ propaganda that advocates for sexual deviancy and gender confusion.
It turns out that the Nazis burned pornographic books spawned during the Weimar Republic, i.e. the decadent "Life is a Cabaret, my friend" era where cross-dressing and perversion were valid forms of expression.
It may turn out that the only decent thing that the Nazis did was to burn execrable books.
We shouldn't be ashamed to limit access to vile books however much backlash we receive.
Most Americans have been (falsely) trained to believe that homosexuality is simply a private, personal and individual issue - when in fact, our present times, history (and even the Bible) show us it is always a highly-charged political wedge issue as well
On 6 May 1933, the Berlin chapter of the German Student Union made an organised attack on Magnus Hirschfeld’s Institut für Sexualwissenschaft (roughly: Institute of Sex Research). This was the first “Nazi book burning” cited by historians - even though the students invited Josef Goebbels to attend, Geobbels refused. In the famous photos, the students raided Hirschfeld’s library and burned it in the street.
Hirschfeld was a homosexual and socialist, whose “Institute” promoted transgenderism, lobbied for the removal of anti-homosexual laws, studied the psychology of (and attempted to normalize) abnormal sexual practices like pedophilia and bestiality, etc...Given the economic and social chaos of the Weimar years, as well as the fact that Hirschfeld was a (very secular) Jew, and also hosted various Soviet officials at his institute obviously made him a very early Nazi target.
How is America going to manage this seemingly unavoidable conflict of individual rights, vs. cultural norms vs. social stability vs. active and cynical marxist political advocacy - I have NO idea.

Hitler did two things upon seizing power. He burned the smut you refer to and made interest illegal. Germans were being gouged. I’m not saying he was a good man, I’m simply saying we’ve been lied to about everything.

In any case, according to the maker of the video the latest Queer Theory is all about sexuality being a choice.
I remember gay "marriage", etc. being shoved at us because "gays were made that way" and we had to be compassionate.
Once that camel's nose was in the tent, the gay "community" can now admit that it was no such thing as something they were born with, but just another choice, and a very bad one at that.
By deliberate;ly and willingly promoting sexually perverted propaganda to children, these libraries, and particularly including Wichita (KS) library officials, who promised to purchase more LGBTQ+ materials “to meet demand,” should be indicted, tried, convicted, and sentenced for giving aid and comfort to the domestic and foreign enemies of the United States.
Mothers and fathers only get one day while freakish offspring get a month:-(
I don’t think following the example of the Third Reich is wise. We need to pray for revival and restoration of the reverence of God. A mighty move of His Spirit in the hearts of men.
Otherwise, our nation will collapse under its own depravity and lawlessness.
I agree, and I don't wish for such a result. But I don't know if we have a choice. My amateur view of history indicates that once such decadence sets in, like a cancer, it seems only radical change, and painful consequences, lie ahead.

I’ve often wondered if Christians could try to buy out all of the AIDS drugs through the “free clinics” in the same way.
I’d check them out, but please don’t make me look at them.
