You’re right, of course.
My apologies. Been spending too much time around the pro-Putin jerkwads and it’s affecting me.

It’s okay I get it. We get so angry. Just be careful in your thoughts and words. We will want God’s mercy one day so we should show it to others as well.
We just want people like Osteen to do what is right and we are shocked he does this more so that he is a preacher’s kid. People go astray and all we can do is pray for them and tell them what is correct. If they don’t listen they don’t listen. Just keep praying.
Preachers bear a huge amount of responsibility for what they do. And God will hold them responsible.
Of course, Osteen can always repent, but even then he will hate himself mightily for what he has done.
All that aside, I thought your comment was light-hearted and fun.
Here are some verses on this subject:
James 3:1:Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly.Jeremiah 23:1:Woe to the shepherds who are destroying and scattering the sheep of my pasture!" declares the Lord.2 Peter 2:1-3:But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves. Many will follow their depraved conduct and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. In their greed these teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping."
