I have never seen or heard her music, and I hope I never do. She is a somewhat attractive and dynamic performer, I have read. Must be playing to the lowest class of consumer, and then the consumers all glom on. My best guess. Seems like a recipe for commercial success while on this earth.
This reminds me of the animated Scott Pilgrim series (”Scott Pilgrim Takes Off”), where the lead singer of The Clash at Demonhead shows up to a funeral and hijacks the whole thing.
