Show me in Scripture where it says that everything a Christian needs to believe is found in Scripture. Surely such a foundational doctrine would be explicitly found there. Don't bother with 2 Timothy 3:16 because it only says that Scripture is "useful" or "profitable," not sufficient. However, it DOES say *complete* and *equipped for every good work*. That's pretty sufficient.

Pretty convenient for you all to reject off hand the Scripture that disproves your argument against the Bible alone being sufficient for spiritual growth in Christ.

Pretty convenient for you to ignore other Scripture verses that are not part of a canned anti-Catholic talking point.

For example, James 1:3-4 teaches us:

For you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

So does this mean that steadfastness is all we need to "be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing"? No, but just like Scripture, it is only part of what we need. You need to read your whole Bible and not rely on cherry-picked verses.
