Feed Your Spirit The Word Of God

When suffering with something in the body there is a tendency to attend only to the body where the problem is, but the scriptures says that what you put in your inner man is just as important if not more important. Words have a significant effect on our whole being spirit, soul, and body. Like 3John 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. What do you think you prosper your soul with, words. Notice, the health of your outer man is connected to your inner man. In Proverbs 15:30 it says, The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart: and a good report maketh the bones fat. The words you take into your heart(not your blood pump) can have a powerful effect on your body. You see in Acts 14:7-10 And there they preached the gospel. 8 And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked: 9 The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed, 10 Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked. That confirms Proverbs 4:20-23 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. 23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. That word health is translated- medicine, remedy, healing, and cure.

Proverbs 14:30 says A sound heart is the life of the flesh. The condition of your heart, inner man, has an effect on your flesh. That's why Proverbs 18:14 says, The strong spirit of a man sustains him in bodily pain or trouble AMPC Version. What makes the spirit strong is the words you feed into it. You see in Matthew 12:34 that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. And the words you speak are important in Proverbs 12:18 says, the tongue(words) of the wise is health (healing). Proverbs 16:24 says, Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. You see again words have an effect on your soul and body. Your words in line with God's word can bring healing to your body and that I know to be true by personal experience. So, I'm not just telling you something off the top of my head, but what I saw in the word and did and received healing. What you feed into your inner man is of vital importance that's why Proverbs 4:23 says, Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. That word keep some say guard your heart with all diligence, what do you think you guard your heart from, words. What you allow into your heart is of vital importance. There is even a thing called "Medical Student Syndrome" where medical students studying a disease and their bodies start experiencing the same symptoms of a disease they are studying. If those words going into a persons heart can have that kind of effect on their bodies, that's Proverbs 4:20-23 on the negative side. What you give your eyes and ears to is being fed into your heart. If those words can have that kind of effect how much more the word of God have the effect of healing on a body.

It is not God's will that any should perish. And I wouldn't want to end this article without giving someone the opportunity to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. It's very easy just pray: Dear God- I know I have sinned and I now turn from them and I invite Jesus to come into my heart (Revelation 3:20). He died for my sins and you have raised him from the dead and I now confess that Jesus is my Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9,10). I thank you for saving me, Amen

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name (John 1:12). 1 Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

What you give your eyes and ears to is being fed into your heart.

The 24/7 all-you-can-eat bad news buffet is killing people.

It's almost impossible to reach those who are convinced that preaching the bad news is doing God's work.

What's happening is that those operating in the light are viewed as clueless, faithless dolts who have their heads firmly buried in the sand. Can't they see the walls closing in? Maybe that's what the 10 out of 12 spies thought of Joshua and Caleb, that they should repent of their ridiculous perspective that ran contrary to what's plainly obvious to everyone else.

Never mind that Joshua and Caleb looked around with the trusty word in their hearts, that God told them that they could take the place. "Can-Do! Let's find the way! Let's Roll!"

Zero talent is required to find bad news. Toss a dart in any direction, and there's some bad news. If there are tournaments and prizes for shooting fish in a barrel, most people would laugh like they do when the Hollyweirds get together to praise themselves with copious drivel for whatever drivel ends up in theaters.

But don't tell the folks lining up for their awards. They'd become rather offended at the insinuation that they are talentless hacks.

The man who had been assigned one lone talent promptly buried it, because he *knew* that the situation was bad from the beginning -- that the boss was a hard man, which gave Can't-Do Man a ready excuse to be afraid and unproductive.

Good news takes a little talent to excavate, especially in a time when the consensus is that it's all bad in every direction, except where that Can has been conveniently kicked down the road, safely out of reach.

So, as long as it is today...

"Preach the Good News" ~ Jesus of Nazareth

Otherwise when the boss returns, Can't-Do Man will be told in no uncertain terms,

"You had *one* job."

Hebrews 3

15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
17 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

The message [from Egypt, no less] is way more literal than some might ever suspect, on account of the darkness filling their hearts:

(Saint Catherine's Monastery)

And then there's the odd and unfortunate word from the most renowned royal family of all the nations on Earth -- that Catherine, Princess of Wales... has been diagnosed with some sort of abdominal cancer.

How to view what's going on here... 🤔
