face it friends...the only bible many now follow is the holey bible...you know, the one where all the parts someone doesn’t want to follow get cut out with scissors leaving it HOLEY.
I remember a pastor who had an old wore out bible falling apart. When he wanted to make a point he would quote a passage from it, then say “Oh I don’t like that!” then pull the page out and drop it on the floor. Talk about getting everyone’s attention!
Of course he had another bible close at hand but he definitely got their attention when he did it.
