If the “pope” redefines the papacy downward then there could at least be one good coming out of this: traditional parishes can go back to the Latin Mass and other traditional Catholic practices.

Yeah, it won’t work that way. +Francis expects absolute and unquestioning obedience from real Catholics. He only plays nice with people outside the church and on the periphery.
