With the Synod’s already clear focus on “listening,” rather than on hierarchical teaching and structure, along with a new-found prominence given to lay voices and roles in governance, a potential revolution in the concept of the papacy is not unlikely to emerge from the October 2024 Synod meetings.

It’s such a slap in the face to the actual Catholics of England (who on any given Sunday outnumber the CoE members actually in the pews) when a turkey like Bergoglio acts as if the Anglicans are of some great importance and relevance and are at all worth bothering with. Some of his predecessors like Paul VI pulled this crap too, though 50+ years ago when (1) the Anglicans hadn’t fallen into complete heresy on things like female ordination and homosexuality; and (2) hadn’t yet been abandoned by 90% of their flock.

If Bergoglio doesn’t know or admit that Petrine rocks never move, and don’t even budge, how can he claim to be the Vicar of Christ?
