Let’s hope it is the final reforming of Israel, and not a prelude to another defeat and disapora.
I worry that the remains of the Wailing Wall constitute “one stone upon another”.
I know there are arguments on both sides, that Jesus only meant the Temple etc., but I am not sure.
humm. interesting. yes, there are plenty of organized ‘stones’ as yet. our Lord doesn’t make mistakes in His Word. when He says, ‘not one stone,’ He means it. when He says ‘forever,’ He means it, too. ergo the error of many.
in terms of the ‘final’ reforming of Israel, i don’t think that’s so either. it might very well be the penultimate reformation, in which case that would be ‘good news’ ultimately for the remnant, elect Jews and we Gentiles (depending on the timing of the rapture), but only in the sense that our Lord’s dying on the Cross for us was ‘Good News’ (for us who believe). it was horrible, ghastly ‘news’ for our Lord, but thank Him and the Father forever for His unlimited suffering, sacrifice and courage leading to and on The Cross. Amen.
