I think many Jewish people of all political persuasions are quickly catching on, although the predominance of liberal and Left Wing Jewish people means many are reacting in a productive fashion.
The biggest shock to their systems is the sudden realization that long time friends and allies either want to see them dead or are beginning to warm up to the idea
The big question is when everyone else wakes up to the same conclusion because persecution of Jews is the canary in the coal mine to warn of more wide spread persecutions of all people

I’d love to see a current poll of American Jews that asked the following question: Which do you consider the bigger danger?
A) Right-wing Christians; or
B) Left-wing anti-Zionists
I honestly am not sure how the answers would break down. I’d like to think that many/most Jews are waking up to reality, but there’s such an ingrained (and, IMO, irrational) phobia of “A” that my gut feeling is that it’d *still* receive more votes than *B*.
