I so agree and I can’t believe it would cost that much!

The sweater doesn’t cost that much. It’s the “Neiman Marcus” tag that does.

I did a security shift at a high end fashion store overnight. The stuff was not any higher quality than what you might buy at a target, but the prices were unreal.
Like $2000 for a pair of sneakers, made the same way as a pair of sneakers. $5000 for a blazer jacket. Stuff like that.

It's advertised as a holey sweater...

The only thing worse than that sweater is this ad-laden blog

I’ve never heard of him before. The price might not matter, since it could’ve been a gift, but his message and his look-at-me attire doesn’t seem to glorify God or what Jesus did for all of humanity.

I was up in Aspen at the ski resort.
One of the shops there was selling a WWII style flight jacket for close to $10,000.
It was a really well made jacket - outstanding workmanship with the highest grade leathers and hardware.
I recognized the workmanship and details and it came from one of the premier makers of leather flight jackets. They were very expensive and sold for about $1500 under the original makers label.
This shop marked the jacket up around $9000.00 and the snooty sales guy derided me as loser unless I had the wherewithal and willingness to pay his price for the jacket. Lots of people up in Aspen with a lot more money than sense.

Ironically, there may come a time and a place in Mr Furtick’s existence where it may be a tad to warm to wear that sweater, but wear it he must.

The only message I get from these clothing at these prices is the psychological reward of being able to afford to pay 15 times the price what a normal person pays for the same thing.

While I also think the price is ridiculous, imagine the costs of running a shop in Aspen.
The rental, hiring help, taxes, utility bills, insurance for all of the merchandise and the store, fees, etc.
