I had a lumpectomy 13 years ago along with brachytherapy (direct radiation- no chemo) at MD Anderson here in Houston.. Check with your mother’s oncologist to see if she is able to have the brachytherapy. It is much less damaging than chemotherapy and very effective. I will be praying for her.
