If you get a rotten Pope, your only alternative is to leave.

Not according to ebb.

He wants you to hang in there until a 'good' pope comes along later.

Jesus Christ is the head of the Catholic Church; no man is.

The Church is the Bride of Christ. The men who minister to Her can be a cancer in Her body. I will not leave my mother, the Church, in the midst of Her infection but will continue to pray for healing from Him who heals all wounds.

Most non-Catholics probably wonder why the Healer doesn’t keep His church from getting sick in the first place.

He’s a great asset for the Globalists. His job is to destroy the Church and it appears he is good at his job.

Yes, it does.

I'm quite happy with His One, True Church.

I assume you've been sick before? Perhaps, as with the rest of us, these things happen so that the works of God might be displayed through them (John 9:3). Far be it from me to heckle Him from the cheap seats as He works out His plan of salvation.

Apples and oranges.

GOD lets folks get sick so He can heal them?

I am in that camp. I am Catholic and have no trust in the current Pope. I will stay with the faith but ignore this goofball. This man has a limited time on earth but the faith is eternal.

I’ll never forget, Mary. Nor will Jesus Christ ever forget His Mother.

I’ll never forget, Mary. Nor will Jesus Christ ever forget His Mother.

Of course you won't!

Now tell us why you capitalize "Mother"?

An Accident? I think not.

Would you write, "Nor will I forget James, the half-brother of Jesus, and His Mother."?

Oh! That's right... it's the Ever "Virgin" business (pun intended).

But you seem to reject what is in the Bible in deference to what is not in the Bible.

“Isn’t this the carpenter? Isn’t this Mary’s son and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas and Simon? Aren’t his sisters here with us?’ And they took offense at him” (Mark 6:3).

(See also Mat 12:46 and 13:55 and 56, Mark 3:31, Luke 8:19, John 7:1-10, Acts 1:14, I Cor 9:5, Gal 1:19)

You don't believe those words, do you? They have a different meaning* for you, don't they? That's not what it says, is it?

Make your case. Try to refrain from a baseless or personal counter-attack.

...........

* In each instance cited, the specific Greek word for “brother” is used. While the word can refer to other relatives, its normal and literal meaning is a physical brother. There was a Greek word for “cousin,” and it was not used.

I am not Catholic, not very religious but Francis doesn’t seem like an asset.

I am Catholic, and Bergoglio IS very much an asshat.

The MARY of CATHOLICISM is not the humble, holy, virtuous, faithful Spirit-filled Mary of Scripture, assigning to Mary powers and qualities and a glory that are not ascribed to any created being therein, and is an egregious example of disobeying the injunction "not to think of men above that which is written," (1 Corinthians 4:6) which idolatrous diversion also leads to Catholics being puffed up against all others. Playing word games will not justify the claim that Catholics (not all though) do not worship this demigoddess.

As said before, one would have a hard time in Bible times explaining kneeling before a statue and praising the entity it represented in the unseen world, even with adulation, attributes, glory and titles never given in Scripture to created beings (except to false gods), including having the uniquely Divine power glory to hear and respond to virtually infinite numbers of prayers addressed to them, and beseeching such for Heavenly help, and making offerings to them. Which would constitute worship in Scripture, yet Catholics imagine by playing word games they avoid crossing the invisible line between mere "veneration" and worship.

Instead they should do what Mary and every believer in every prayer to Heaven did (and I should do more of), which was to pray directly to the Lord, not secretaries. But they must truly become born again for that.

Moses, put down those rocks! I was only engaging in hyper dulia, not adoring her. Can't you tell the difference?

Instead Caths basically say,

As for the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the Lord, we will not hearken unto thee. But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes... (Jeremiah 44:16-17)
