From every Biblical story God teaches us. Here we have a story of faith, belief, trust, obedience. Hagar’s personal relationship with God gave her the courage to face her trials, she knew He would protect and provide for her and her son.

Hugh Ross reads through the Bible twice annually. Each time he focuses on a different topic as the Spirit leads, picking up all references to it and thereby gaining the counsel of the whole Bible on that subject.

I go through the book of Psalms annually as well. As the Spirit directs, I go through other topics.

The obedient, wise Christian spends time in Scripture. I cannot help wondering whether that same Scripture plays any role for that same Christian in heaven,
