——>Now as to years, it used to be 360 days to a year but it is no more. That stopped when the Flood came.

Here’s what I see: Biblically, it’s still 360 days/year. To compensate for the solar year of 365.24 days/year, Israel added a 13th month every few years, keeping the lunar calendar in line with the solar calendar. Evidently that’s spelled out in Ezekiel/vision from God (I’m researching that right now). Prophetically and literally (solar year), the 1260 years of 538-1798 are equivalent. I’ll post some articles later (not for Delchiante, though, because he doesn’t read anything except the bible....just messing with you Del 😁...but seriously?)

Phil,

354 lunar year + 365 solar year= 719

719/2 = 359.5

The two average to 360 days today.

That’s 29.5 average lunar days every month.
That’s 30.4 average days every month for the solar.

That’s about 30 days each month if they are added and averaged together.

In Noah’s day, it started to rain on 2/17. And the bible says there was 150 days where the rain prevailed on earth.

Next date in scripture detailed is the 17th day of His 7th month,or as we would see it, 7/17.

That’s exactly 5 months lunar.
That’s exactly 150 days if the year has 360 days and 30 days each month.

On the lunar calendar today, that doesn’t happen, yet according to the bible, it happened at the flood.
One only reaches about

Maybe if one counts February 17- July 17, one will get 150 days today, but that’s not the days of Noah.

150 days in Noah’s time, according to the scriptures, was an even 5 months- 2/17-7/17.

That doesn’t happen on the lunar calendar today.

Again if one averages a lunar year of 354 and a solar year of 365,one gets an average of 359.5,or about 360 days.

But neither reflect an exact 360 day year or a 150 day 5 months like Noah’s time reflected at the flood.

Combined, the average does.
Separate, neither do.
One is over 360 and one is below 360.
But the lunar used to be 360 only because of Noah’s timekeeping detailed at the flood.

Without the memtion of the 17th Day of the 2nd month, the mention of 150 days, and the mention of 17th Day of 7th month,we wouldn’t be able to know what at month period equated to back then vs now..

360, 354,365 all have had a purpose in telling time.

The only option one has is of there was exactly 30 days each month in Noah’s day, something changed to what one sees as 29.5 average days in the lunar months today.

The only change that seems to fit is the flood did something to the Creation and balance.

And I have no scientific proof that it was exactly 360 days and 30 days each month in Noah’s day.
Just,by faith, accepting that the 5 months spread detailed in Noah’s time= 150 days which makes each of those 5 months exactly 30 days long..

And maybe the solar calendar today can make the 150 days work for 5 months, but it can’t make the 360 work for 12 months.

The sun and moon were to be used in signs, appointments, days and years according to scripture.
One or the other exclusively misses something.

Yes, a 13th month was added every few years to line up lunar and solar calendars.

Seven_0 from post 249: You are saying that the little horn ruled from 538AD to 1798AD or 1260 years.
What allows you to use 365.24 day per year instead of the 360 days per year that you insist on?

• Solar year = 365 days or 12 months/lunations long.
• 1st Lunar year = 354 days long, or 12 lunations long. (Eleven days shorter than the solar year.)
• 2nd Lunar year = 354 days or 12 lunations long. (Now 22 days shorter than the solar year.)
• 3rd Lunar year = 384 days or 13 lunations long. This now catches up with the solar year.

Read the evidence in Ezekiel for yourself. And, IF YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND IT, read what other people have written on the subject, who do. (Del/7)
