Ok this philosophy was tried. I don’t think anyone other than a Catholic Ostrich can deny it’s brought the modern RCC to the brink of utter irrelevance and eventual disintegration. If I thought there were a solution other than prayer and voting with my feet, then I’d try it. As it stands, only God can save the RCC and (at the moment) it looks like he’s left it to its own devices.
If anyone didn’t already know there was internal schism they must have missed the part where Benedict XVI was forced into exile/“retirement.”
