Thankfully, our Church disaffiliated from the North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church (NCCUMC) last year because of the leftward lurch and gay nonsense. We had to pay a year’s worth of apportionments but were able to keep ALL our property with a “Quit Claim Deed.”

I can't be prouder of my fellow Christians who took the risk of leaving the hedonist UMC with the disputes on property and pastor pensions and such. Please make this a moment you rally on the rest of your lives. Now and forevermore you're sticking to Jesus like glue, no matter what, no matter who.

Wesley, like us, believed that we're saved by grace (humble about ourselves), but we're still called to live it like we mean it (bold about the Lord). Wesley was very much a part of the Holiness movement that was in the First Great Awakening. What colonial Americans referred to as "Methodist Evangelicals" weren't perfect just like you and I aren't. But they brought a lot to the table for our American culture being transformed into having the kind of values you and I hold dear. Now it's our generation's turn.
