Honestly, not being snarky, but one can begin to understand why Catholicism seems to have a problem with people outside the magisterium interpreting scripture, one might begin to challenge their authority and actual desire to serve God.
As a lay person I guess the scripture below just doesn’t say what it says.
1 Timothy 2:12 “But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet.”
I’m not crazy about the idea at all.

The early Church did have “office” called “Deaconess” They were not ordained. Their duties involved treatme4nt of women and girls that need private treatment and preparing them (Dressing etc...) for full immersion baptism by those that requested it. ONCE AGAIN, THEY ERE NOT ORDAIEND, IT WAS A TITLE....
