I'm old enough to remember when public schools would not dare have school events on a Sunday. Most of them also blocked out an additional weekday night which were reserved for church activities, typically a Wednesday night or Thursday night.
Then libtardism became the de facto state religion.

(I think the whole state is like that, but I'm not 100% sure.) I grew up in CT, and even 50 years ago it was not like that there.
