Lol, names were never mentioned in the Bible. Whoever Luke or Matthew were interviewing could care less about that detail since they were probably an infant at the time.

well, they definitely were not kings - the Bible calls them specifically Magi - and magi were Zoroastrian priestly caste (like Brahmins)

The journey would not have taken months or years. A journey from the eastern Parthian empire (Afghanistan) to Bethlehelm by FOOT would have taken about 40 days, but by camel would be about a month.

There is nothing about Jesus as a child living in a house - where do you get that?

As to their number, it’s not there in the Bible, but the earliest tradition is Ethiopian which numbers them as 40 — though “40”is a symbolic number in the bible and most likely is not to be taken as literally forty.

Arthurus - well, it might suggest, but it’s not defined. “house” could mean manger, child could include newborn babe etc. or it could mean a 2 year old - it’s just not clear.

The up to 2 years of age massacred isn’t clear either - if He was 2, then why not only boys around 2?

Christians aren’t supposed to “do” tradition. The Bible is the sole Authority.
