Everyone here seems to be always looking for a fight.
The Pope is a man. He will have opinions whether global warming is real, whether immigrants should be allowed into Western Countries, or whether spinach is better than broccoli, etc.... Many of these may be "informed" or influenced by his Catholic faith - but they are NOT doctrine.
This Pope indeed seems very favorable to communism, and quite blinded by post-modern theories of environmentalism, "acceptance" of homosexuality, etc... It is indeed discouraging for traditional Catholics - and many have publicly opposed him. Many feel his views may even border on heresy.
But this is NOT CATHOLIC DOCTRINE, nor has he (nor could he) say these are Catholic Doctrine.
There's quite a big difference.
The pope is supposed to be the representative of Christ on the earth to the world, but when he does something you all don’t like, you brush if off with the *he’s just a man* excuse?
If Catholics don’t feel the need to submit to him, and I see none here on FR that do, they why expect non-Catholics to submit to him and condemn them for not doing so?
However, how does a Roman Catholic reconcile what you've said with Unam Sanctam?
"Furthermore, we declare, we proclaim, we define that it is absolutely necessary for salvation that every human creature be subject to the Roman Pontiff"

That says nothing about when the pope speaks ex-cathedra or some other attempt to deflect by RCs.
As noted before, we see daily posts from RCs against their pope. Sure seems they are not being subject to the Roman Pontiff.
