In this video, Mike Gendron, an ex-Catholic, visits Revolve to give a seminar that exposes the twisted, unbiblical, and outright satanic teachings of the Catholic Church that most people are completely unaware of. If you’d like to learn more about Mike, please visit his ministry’s website: https://www.proclaimingthegospel.org

Not really. Plenty of Catholics aren't well catechized on their own faith; some of them become ex-Catholics. There are Protestant scholars who have never been Catholic who have reasonable insights into Catholicism.
The depth of a person's study and their ability to construct a well-reasoned argument based on actual facts count for a lot more than their personal history.
Nothing like a good anti-Catholic screed to get everyone agitated.
Point taken.
How is being offended by a video affected by its age?

Well, maybe God changed his mind in the past year.
“ Amazing how ex Catholics hate the church”
No one in my experience hates the Catholic Church like people who are Catholic and want to be of another religion.
Scott Hahn, former Protestant minister and now well known Catholic apologist, said the exact thing you did about the last stumbling block being The veneration of Mary. He overcame that hurdle and wrote a book “Hail Holy Queen: the Mother of God”.
Not trying to argue, just making you aware of a resource.
Well, that's what Andy Stanley thinks about homosexuality being no longer an abomination.;-)
The odd thing is that we are encouraged to dig into Scripture and refute errors being spread from the pulpit...unless you are Catholic. The Catholic Church (which chose Francis as Pope) is off-limits.
Jesus to John: Behold your mother.
Mary: Do whatever he tells you.
Pontevedra (May 18th, 1936):
Sister Lucia asked Jesus why Russia would not be converted except through its Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Jesus responded, “Because I desire My Church to recognize this favor as a triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and, in this way, to extend the devotion to her Immaculate Heart together with my Sacred Heart.”
It’s the destination faith (not Hotel California!).
Gosh let’s open up religious debates within Christianity that have had many wars fought over and hundreds of years of back and forth .
That sounds like a productive use of time.
Mary: Do whatever he tells you.
Now how do you go from that to Co-Redemptrix and Queen of Heaven?
May God have mercy on your soul.
This is not true. The Pope can not deviate from "the deposit of faith." Indeed, the present Pope can and should be ignored when his comments stray, particular into secular or psuedo-religious matters.
Another religion?
This is not true.
Which part(s) of that comment are not true.
That errors can not be opposed when spread from the pulpit. Albeit, one must also define "pulpit."
You mad, and you thirsty.
Maybe you should have some of the free water in this thread. Your supply seems endless.
Thanks. The Catholic church does not believe that the she is a deity. Here is a link to all the sections concerning Mary within the catechism.

Whether one were to agree or disagree with the beliefs about the Virgin Mother, there is certainly nothing there that would lead to the church that recites the nicene creed at every mass being called “apostate”.
Sex problems show up wherever humans are and it wouldn’t be shocking if an occasional priest fell for a female parishioner, or the girl at the coffee shop, or even on occasion a closeted homosexual one was discovered dating in gay bars.
Sex problems are everywhere but the massive globally institutionalized Catholic church sex problem is different, it is rampant homosexuality globally and a preference for young boys in their control and who are part of their church ceremonies and culture.
Homosexuality and the pursuit of boys is a major force within the leadership to the extent that some wonder if it is largely in control of the Seminaries and offices and leadership of that largely invisible European-based international organization.
