In this video, Mike Gendron, an ex-Catholic, visits Revolve to give a seminar that exposes the twisted, unbiblical, and outright satanic teachings of the Catholic Church that most people are completely unaware of. Where in the Bible does it say that we can live sinful lives and still go to heaven as long as we claim to have faith?

Because we are saved by Grace and not by Law, this is your understanding?
I’ve heard seventh day Adventists draw the same false conclusion.
That verse in no way advocates for praying to them for anything.
“Who is Sister Lucia?
“What happened to her notable younger kin?”
That would be Sister Ethel, and she went on to marry Brother Fred.
Nope. Mary cannot do ANYTHING for Russia.
Have you not noticed the number of Catholics on this thread *bashing* non-Catholics???
One hopes it’s just purgatory
“You can gang up on free republic.”
This is an open thread. I never intrude on the Catholic Cause threads.
“In 2009, Pope Benedict affirmed that
Catholicism comes without an escape clause: Once a person is baptized or received into the Church, there is no getting out.”
See ... That’s the problem. You put credence in what mortals say. How about giving God that same respect?
Benedict means NOTHING to true Christians. He’s JUST A GUY. The ONLY authority is God’s Word.
I would never bash anyone and I would never bash a non catholic. If you accuse me of that then try quoting me
I know of whom you speak and the personal hobby-horse that he rides. It doesn’t justify the crude, worn-out, and discredited anti-Catholicism that is represented by the screed that started this thread. There is no place among Christians for this.
“Where did I say that?”
Read your post, and you’ll figure it out.
Jesus didn't ask John to deify Mary. She is not God.
Jesus asked him to look after his mother...and he asked Mary to look after John.
According to your twisted logic, asking my neighbors or fellow church members to pray for me would be apostasy. If the saints can pray, they can certainly pray for me, and there is nothing wrong with asking them to do so.
Romans 6:1-2 What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?
And 1 Corinthians 3 and 6.
You don’t have anything better to refute the article than personal attacks?
Have you ever put your accounting skills to use in an effort to find out how many billions of dollars the roman catholic church has spent defending priests who have molested children, only to be recycled to different diocese? Or money used to silence the victims and their families?
When you gather them figures, let us know.
Thanks
“Have you not noticed the number of Catholics on this thread *bashing* non-Catholics???”
Yeah. I picked up on that. LOL!
It’s a bit like the two-tiered justice system when the Dems have all the rights, and we have none.
Still, how do we know that Mary is an exception to the norm of “all have sinned”? And more specifically, is there biblical support for this claim? Yes, there is much biblical support.
And [the angel Gabriel] came to [Mary] and said, “Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you!” But she was greatly troubled at the saying, and considered in her mind what sort of greeting this might be. And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God” (Luke 1:28-30).
Protestants tend to emphasize God’s “salvation” almost exclusively to the forgiveness of sins actually committed. However, Sacred Scripture indicates that salvation can also refer to man being protected from sinning before the fact:
Now to him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you without blemish before the presence of his glory with rejoicing, to the only God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and for ever (Jude 24-25).
Why do you need to demean the Mother of God? Do you expect Jesus to have a sinful mother? Wouldn’t God save Mary from sin by filling her full of grace? If the Holy Spirit by a miracle caused her to become pregnant with Jesus, wouldn’t she still be a virgin?
Perhaps you should seek a better understanding of God’s Truth than listening to false prophets influenced by the lies of Satan that misunderstand God’s Truth? Jesus dying on the cross entrusted His mother to Apostle John as she had no other children to take care of her. Luke 19:27
I recommend that you spend an hour with Jesus in front of the Blessed Sacrament or in the Tabernacle of a Catholic Church. Ask Jesus to help you understand God’s revealed Truths and just listen to Him.
God’s Peace be with you.
We are warned in the Bible not to commune with the dead. When you talk to the dead you are opening yourself up to spirits you may not know.
It is called necromancy. An abomination to God.
And my daughter knew a guy at college who was Catholic and did the same thing for the same reason only it was the Catholic church's teaching he couldn't deal with.
His Catholic religion condemned and rejected him because of his homosexual inclinations.
His homosexual friends rejected him because of his Catholicism.
He sadly, saw suicide as the only way out.
Chavez, the Kennedys, Pelosi, Kerry, Biden, to name a few.
