No doubt RCs will call this "private revelation" and they can take it or leave it. But it's amazing how often they cite as authoritative comments like this one.
It's apparent they don't realize how anti-Scriptural this quote really is. It is but another example of how Rome elevates the worship of Mary to that of Jesus.

Roman Catholic bashing time again??? You must completely ignore the daily postings against the pope by a claimed Roman Catholic.
Just scrolling on the first page of the religion section I count three.

shhhhhh.....apparently the First Amendment rights only exist for approved catholics being allowed to question catholic lifestyle and beliefs. Kind of like the democrat party limiting the rights of the First Amendment applying only to liberal/communist/progressive democrats.
you are probably the type that Jesus would have thrown out of the Temple, what with your arrogance and hatefulness.....
I don’t think you want to go down this road....
You might want to consider the same before convincing people to blindly follow your Mother Church.
It was never about religion or church or some bureaucracy claiming to represent you to God...it's about Jesus.
Open your mind and heart and let him in.
“Are you saying Roman Catholicism says being homosexual is not a sin?? Just want to get you on the record on this question.”

She must be reading into vatican III, the new and improved updated version.
“Nowhere in the Bible is there any indication that the ONE Church he established would, over the next 2,000 years, evolve into over 33,000 Protestant church denominations that currently exist around the world”
I don’t know any Protestant denomination that says it believes such a thing. So did you pull that lie out of your butt?
Denominations are not important to anyone but the RCs.
The ONE church is not a group of buildings, or any denomination. The ONE church is made up of everyone who is a born-again Christian, and those people are from many denominations.
But all the members in those many denominations are not members of the ONE church, i.e., the Body Of Christ. If they haven’t made the decision to accept Christ as Savior, eternity in hell is in their future.
I am not discounting the existence of ostensibly “Catholic” charities which misuse their funds for inappropriate purposes; that should go without saying. (Those who do so will receive their just reward at their particular judgment, if not duly repented of during their life.)
I am merely pointing out that Mike Grendon is gaining a rather substantial temporal benefit from his ministry (enough that it wouldn’t even be counted as a “good” charity just in terms of revenue/expense ratios), which cannot be discounted as a motivating factor for what he does.
Are any of the non-biblical quotes you cite inspired?
“...ended up killing himself because his new christian church said he was going to hell for being gay.”
He isn’t going to hell for being gay. He’s gay because he’s going to hell, i.e., is not a Christian and is living a sinful life. The Holy Spirit is not in him showing him discernment.
When people accept Christ on a personal level, most often the desires for alcohol, smoking, sexual perversions, etc., disappear. The Holy Spirit directs them to make good choices.
I’m not talking about RC charities.....

No, it's not a sin anymore than "being" an alcoholic.

How could he have been a strong defender of the Catholic faith and yet NEVER READ THE BIBLE until he was in his 4th decade?
______________________________
The answer is obvious. Catholics are taught that tradition supercedes Scripture and mere mortal laity types are unable to comprehend such weighty matters. Therfore catholics are discouraged from reading the Bible much less to understand the Scriptures.
It would be highly unlikely that a majority of catholics have read the Bible.
Actually Truth would have it that....
How could he have been a strong defender of the Catholic faith once having read the Scriptures?
“any more than...”
Behold your mother, RR.
“Jesus says do not do repetitive prayer. Catholics do the rosary.”
Yes. The Bible couldn’t be clearer regarding “vain repetitions”, and the Rosary definitely is that. There’s also something like the “Our Father”, I think, that is in the same category. What groups chant? Cults.
“You pray to Mary and dead saints.” You note that the only Mediator is Christ Jesus, and that’s true. But wait ... there’s more. Necromancy — all contact with the spirit world is expressly forbidden irrespective of the nature of the spirits concerned.
“look at how the media treats Protestant politicians”
Yup. We Christians are warned in the Bible that we will be persecuted for His name’s sake.
The fact that the RC pols are NOT met with scorn and derision says a lot.
quote:
“ In 2009, Pope Benedict affirmed that Catholicism comes without an escape clause: Once a person is baptized or received into the Church, there is no getting out.

Sounds like a hostage negotiation. Sort of like a prelude to purgatory. If someone writes a check for an acceptable amount, hostages are released from imprisonment of being a member of a false religion.

Nope.
That is always the first accusation I get.
NOWHERE in Scripture does the Holy Spirit refer to Mary as *mother of God*. That is a complete fabrication. The Holy Spirit ALWAYS addresses Mary as the mother of Jesus.
So in essence, you are making the accusation against the Holy Spirit that HE is denying the deity of Christ.
Also, the phrase is never used to identify Jesus, but is always in reference to identifying which of the many Mary’s is being referred to.
Addressing the deity of Christ is better done through many other verses in Scripture, rather than clouding the issue more by relabeling Mary and claiming it’s all about Jesus.
