Well it’s no longer a Catholic college anymore is it. Funny how I never hear about Islamic schools having to put up with the BS.
You cannot call anything or anyone no longer Catholic when leadership manifestly treats even liberal proabortion, prohomosexual public figures as members in life and in death. Since belief is shown by actions, as James 5:18 states, then by so doing, Rome effectually teaches her flock that such is the correct understanding of her own doctrine on who is a member.
In response to this and certain modern RC teachings, there arose various sects of "TradCaths," called those "Protestant" by some, since in polemics and practice, they hold that what the modern living magisterium teaches is only valid and authoritative if it is consistent with their own TradCath judgment of conformity with past (which period they variously interpret) church teaching.
Which they should, but with past church teaching being that of the only wholly inspired substantive authoritative record of what the NT church believed (which is Scripture, in particular Acts through Revelation, which best shows how the NT church understood the gospels) in which distinctive RC teachings are not manifest.
