You're trying to claim that there's some sort of conspiracy going on, but the real explanation is simpler by far. CM isn't controlled by the hierarchy, but if they were, and the hierarchy wanted them silenced, that would have happened long ago.

That sounds like a popular tradition that would be readily received, by a wayward flock, who are indoctrinated to entrust heretical tradition over the very Word of God.
But let’s see what the chosen Apostle unto the Gentiles would have us to understand as he relates to us the Inspired Word of God:
Galatians 1:8-10

8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
The entire Word of God is made of none effect to those who are taught not only that mere men have the power to forgive sins against God, but homosexual men.
Doesn’t it seem strange when God Himself warned us of such apostates?
Truth is, when non Scriptural offices are created such as cardinal and pope, it’s easy to blur their “callings” as if it were by God.
