Those half animal/half human legends different cultures have had to come from somewhere.

And maybe it wasn’t just messing with DNA by sex.
Humans tend to presume that *old* means *primitive* and yet Scripture indicates advanced technology. Perhaps that was far more advanced that we give them credit for even to the point of genetic engineering animal/human hybrids.

The OT is to the Jewish as the OT is to Christians.
The NT is to Christians as the Talmud is to the Jewish.

BTW, the question might just have easily been asked, "A women had several legal husbands (legal under Torah law because she was a widow 2 times). She had children by each husband."
"So whose wife would she be?"
Jesus's answer would hypothetically be the same. "There is no marriage in heaven."

Pardon me for one more point but I think you'll appreciate this.
The Sadducees don't believe in the afterlife. So they weren't really interested in "whose wife will she be in heaven."
And, FWIW, the Sadducees didn't believe in angels or a spirit world, so Jesus's response about angels was a dig at the Sadducees for posing such a trick question.
Jesus was showing the Sadducees that not only was he aware that they were trying to trap him with a silly question but that their question was out of sync with their own beliefs about the afterlife (heaven and angels).
This scenario once again demonstrates Jesus's vast superiority over the so-called intelligentsia of his time. You can imagine how much they hated Jesus for making fools of them in public (which he did all the time).
Ya gotta love it.;-)

Angels are spirits.....not people. You’re welcome.

Do you mean like the ones (angels) at Lot's house that the men and boys of Sodom wanted to have sex with? Or the ones who had a meal with Abraham and Sarah (and with Lot too at his house in Sodom).
Those kinds of spirits?

That’s a big possibility that a lot of Biblical researchers have pondered and written about.
You have to wonder why every ancient civilization had it’s version of “heroes” and why?

You might enjoy the video linked to at
this comment above re: "The Unseen Realm" by Michael Heiser. It's a great book too.

It makes one wonder if all the mythology of the Roman and Greek gods is based on the *sons of God* who came to earth to defile the human race, or they were the offspring of that union. Bingo. I believe that is exactly where Greek and Roman mythology came from. When fallen angels came to earth. This is what Johnathan Cahn wrote about. Those involved, were locked up in chains in darkness, called Tartarus. It was described as a dark abode of woe, as far below hell, as earth is below heaven. They are probably suffering there, as they will in the lake of fire. 🔥
It’s possible, that when Jesus went to preach to spirits in prison, this is where He went, to announce to them that their doom was sealed forever. I doubt that was something that any one of them wanted to hear. Maybe they should have thought of that, before they rebelled in the first place.

Those half animal/half human legends different cultures have had to come from somewhere.Exactly. They were soulless, unredeemable creatures, all killed in the Flood. As I mentioned earlier, the bodies of dead Nephilim, can still be seen, strewn across the landscape of the world. I saw one in New Hampshire, called the old man of the mountain. I am convinced, it was the head of a dead Nephilim, killed in the Flood. Imagine my shock, to see the head of that dead Nephilim, on the New Hampshire commemorative coin.

Sounds like I need to pick up some IDE Thomas books.I don’t know how many he wrote, but I read The Omega Conspiracy, Satan’s last assault on God’s kingdom. That is what got me interested in figuring out, exactly what was going on. I had seen the old man of the mountain, many years before. At the time, all I thought, was that it was a remarkable rock formation. Now, I am convinced it was the head of a GIANT Nephilim, maybe a Titan.

Yes, that be the one. Possibly a Titan, since the head itself, was enormous. It was destroyed later, by an earthquake.

Oh, you mean the good angels. I guess they can be whatever the Lord wants them to be for his purpose at the time.
But you boxed yourself in now. Because if you are saying those were sons of God, you are saying they were the good angels. You can’t have it both ways. Sons of God having sex with humans in Genesis 6, obvioiusly the bad angels...and suddenly you have sons of God or angels not having sex with Sodom folks.
So are Sons of God good or bad?
