As a traditional conservative Protestant I take no pleasure in this development. The Catholic Church is just a large and visible institution that is awash in a tidal wave of post-modernism, nihilism and marxist politics. The whole world is affected by it.
I can't think of one institution anywhere which is not being flooded.

There is a problem in your definition - do you consider any “believer in Jesus” as a member of the Church?
What about Jehovah’s witnesses or Mormons? They believe in Jesus, but not as God.
Or Oneness Pentecostals - they reject the Trinity but they hold that Jesus is God. Are they believers in your opinion?
