“I think those hostages are already dead.”
Sadly you are most correct.
Why? Because they are not hostages they are war trophies for the folks back home and to spread the terror to as many Israeli families as possible. The American and European hostages are cherries on the topping.
The problem with letting “civilians” out of Gaza is the fakestinians will throw down their weapons and claim to be refugees. They get behind Israeli lines and half of them pull out hidden weapons and cause havoc. Then the IDF has to start all over again.
Better to scour the ground clean and take it for Israel.
Whatever Israel does someone isn’t going to like it. When you have to fight do it like you’re the last in line for the ark and sister, it’s raining.
In the case of Israel, that is simply a matter of breathing.
I do think what you say, is what they are doing, but it’s a shame, because bombing women, children and the aged, is a rare fair point that turns people against them.
In may not be convenient, but that’s the way it is. You want to not end up with a bigger problem than you started with, that’s the way it goes. This is just a fact. Wait and see if you don’t believe me.
There is a huge coastal area, there’s a border with Egypt (which has apparently closed) The whole place is 25 miles long and about 5 miles wide. Surely, something could be worked out to offer safe passage once people reach a border. They could incarcerate the military aged men and negotiate with surrounding countries to set up camps for the refugees. Shame the other countries into doing it by broadcasting any refusals to grant hospitality.
If Hamas prevents civilians from leaving, that goes against them.
