doesn’t want to do it any more

Should the word “want” be in that statement?

Many Christians “want” to sin. They struggle to resist and overcome those urges. They constantly repent and seek forgiveness for both theirs acts....and they desires...their wants.

“...their wants.”

One of the problems with the “new” Christians is that they are straying away from living the life except on Sundays. God doesn’t stop them from doing that but the only unforgiveable sin is that of blasphemy. If their wants is inconsistent with God’s, then that could be acceptable.

Homosexuality is a sin listed numerous places in the Bible with direct quote. Christ suffered the penalty for our sins so that we can repent. Repentance is a change of heart and mind that brings us closer to God. It includes turning away from sin and turning to God for forgiveness. It is motivated by love for God and a sincere desire to obey His commandments.

If a person sins in a way he/she knew was wrong to begin with, for a recreational event, and then continues it thus ignoring the forgiveness and thus using repentance to forgive a sin he/she intends to repeat and use God as a way to cleanse, then they are using God for immoral purposes and that is a blasphemy of God and the only unforgiveable sin.

There is no scientific proof that homosexuality is inborn. It is a chosen way of life and is a sin, so it can be forgiven. If one really wants repentance. But is repeating the behavior that is nothing more than recreation displaying an intent to not sin, purposely? And that is the problem with lying to God for nothing more than self gratification and immoral pleasure.
