Well said, Dr. Brown.
Accepting Jesus Christ as your lord and savior must be coupled with repentance and godly sorrow. Even the enemy acknowledges who Jesus Christ is. So for someone to say they believe in Jesus but they have not repented of their sinful lifestyle is proof positive they are not saved
Can’t be a practicing homosexual and be a Christian.
There, fixed it.
“On this, we agree, point for point. We need to do better. We need to show unconditional love. “
At some point “No!” must be said. That is part of unconditional love.
Andy is a woke cancer
I can’t stand him
Andy is a woke cancer
I can’t stand him
. This is serious stuff. God is not mocked.
.....”hand this man over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved on the day of the Lord”. I Corinthians 5:5
“... proof positive they are not saved...”
It goes further than that. To ask God for forgiveness of a sin is admitting it is wrong and doesn’t want to do it any more as homosexuality is recognized in the bible as a sin. Thus by using God as a get out of jail free card each time they wish to accomplish a sin they know is wrong, they are using God’s grace thus accomplishing a blasphemy and this is the only sin God will not forgive. So they are destined not for the afterlife of heaven.

“It’s time to be blunt about Rev. Andy Stanley and homosexual Christians.
There, fixed it.”
Yep, when you start using their language you’ve lost.
doesn’t want to do it any more
Should the word “want” be in that statement?
Many Christians “want” to sin. They struggle to resist and overcome those urges. They constantly repent and seek forgiveness for both theirs acts....and they desires...their wants.
——>Accepting Jesus Christ as your lord and savior must be coupled with repentance and godly sorrow.
Nope, not according to FR biblical “experts”. OSAS/OJAJ means just that. Still going to heaven, no matter what. All you have to do is believe. Conduct is optional. God’s law is only for the unsaved.
“...their wants.”
One of the problems with the “new” Christians is that they are straying away from living the life except on Sundays. God doesn’t stop them from doing that but the only unforgiveable sin is that of blasphemy. If their wants is inconsistent with God’s, then that could be acceptable.
Homosexuality is a sin listed numerous places in the Bible with direct quote. Christ suffered the penalty for our sins so that we can repent. Repentance is a change of heart and mind that brings us closer to God. It includes turning away from sin and turning to God for forgiveness. It is motivated by love for God and a sincere desire to obey His commandments.
If a person sins in a way he/she knew was wrong to begin with, for a recreational event, and then continues it thus ignoring the forgiveness and thus using repentance to forgive a sin he/she intends to repeat and use God as a way to cleanse, then they are using God for immoral purposes and that is a blasphemy of God and the only unforgiveable sin.
There is no scientific proof that homosexuality is inborn. It is a chosen way of life and is a sin, so it can be forgiven. If one really wants repentance. But is repeating the behavior that is nothing more than recreation displaying an intent to not sin, purposely? And that is the problem with lying to God for nothing more than self gratification and immoral pleasure.

I have been reading the Old Testament and just finished with Solomon’s death.
It seems that disobeying the Lord’s commands (commandments) especially the first one was most infuriating to God.
As to Christ’s redemption, there are many who think they can just attend a service and repeat their sin - this is no different than the tribes of Israel sinning again and again by creating false gods and I guess that would be the ultimate sin/blasphemy.
Just having read through (some chapters several times), I am struck by how much God loved his people and wanted them to be free from sin. And then he sends his only Son to die for our sins. How very much He loves us.

So is ADULTERY. And even if unrepentant, Ravi will still be in heaven. That comes straight from a bible college graduate, of all people. Another says all one has to do is BELIEVE. What does God care about Christians keeping His law? “They” say you’re still going to heaven. Easy peasy. Just believe and you’re in.
Indeed.
We had a discussion about whether a transoid would be welcome in our church. I said, “Depends.” Why is he/she there? If to repent, absolutely. But if to flaunt its evil, absolutely not.
I asked, “What would be the response to a drug addict who came to a service IN ORDER TO SHOOT UP? Obviously he isn’t there to repent-—he’s there to flaunt his sin.
IF they continue in their chosen lifestyle it's a very good indication they haven't repented and therefore are not saved.
