That’s the true nonsequitur... and what I would call a truly pathological definition of “love”.

Not in the least, you just don’t understand the meaning of the word “love” if you say that.

For example, every single parent that loves their child will also, at least from time to time, object to some things their children do. If they never do, then they are not good parents and probably do not really love their children.
