Lots of electromagnetic waves, regardless of frequency or wavelength, can pass through walls. Radiotelescopes have produced images for decades.
Can it show me wearing the morning PJs? Oh, that could be bad.
Development of this technology goes back at least as far as July 2005, where researchers claimed at an IEEE Symposium that they had created an ultra-wideband high-resolution short pulse imaging radar system operating around 10 GHz. The applications for which were explicitly for military and police use, providing them with “enhanced situation awareness.”...
“The past two years have seen an explosion of methods for passive Wi-Fi imaging.”.. In a 2021 company blog, Liu discusses the development of IEEE 802.11bf, a new WiFi protocol, which is aimed at standardizing WiFi imaging across all devices – thus making it easier for companies such as his to exploit compatible wireless networks...
The perfect WiFi imaging system may have just been introduced to the world in December 2022, when researchers from Carnegie Mellon University married the latest in WiFi sensing technology to a human form estimation engine known as DensePose.
DensePose is a technology developed by Meta/Facebook, beginning in 2018. It’s very similar to the WiPose system we previously discussed and aims at “mapping all human pixels of an RGB image to the 3D surface of a human body.” - https://patriotandliberty.com/the-ai-gods-new-eyes-your-wifi-can-see-you-throughout-your-home/
If be happy to have any decent wifi, even if they could see my pathetic 75-year-old image. Limping along on a horrid Verizon hotspot until we can find a provider.
(Xfinity has promised, but it appears they lied.)
just watched the following - dystopian, yet even DW seems somewhat accepting of such a future everywhere:

But your wifi can't see you in your house if you simply turn it off. If you're using a computer (or a TV) with a direct connection, you don't need wifi.

Ok, so I need to wrap my house. Should I use duct tape or tinfoil? Or do I need both, properly layered?
What kind of equipment is needed to pick up these signals and how close does it need to be? Do I need to worry about that black van with all the antennas that is parked across the street, and am I safe if it is halfway down the block? Or do I need to worry about the next door neighbor watching me from his basement?
They say cancer rate is on the up tick in younger people I wonder why.
Does a tinfoil hat provide protection?
