Catholics also ignore the prat where (they claim) Jesus says that if they physically eat Him they will live forever. I have not yet met a Catholics who is now living forever, no matter how many times they eat Jesus.

Don't forget 2 Timothy 3:14-17
But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
We don't need anything else according to the Holy Spirit who breathed out these words. "Complete" says it all.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
And I am not going to call Him a liar by telling Him it's not true. You can do that if you wish. It's YOUR eternal destiny at stake.

Proverbs 6:16-19 There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.Which would include flame bating threads such as this one and the Bible is dumb thread.
For that matter, ebb never posts any threads that do not sow discord. When he's not attacking Scripture, he's busy tearing down other Catholics and attacking his own religion.

I have the confidence of belonging to the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. You better worry about your own eternal future instead of mine. What hubris! Even though I live in Alabama, which has the highest percentage of Protestants, I don’t know one Protestant who says that he’s saved because he’s Baptist or he’s saved because he’s Church of God, or Pentecostal, or nondenominational, etc.

we aren’t to have confidence in a building or even a group of people or leaders of churches (ALL people are fallible, sinful, every single day of their lives)
we are to have confidence in the WORD OF GOD and that HE keeps HIS word.
Included in that Word of God is that by faith we are saved if we believe in Jesus as Savior. Then we can choose to follow Him as our Lord for the rest of our days.
By the Holy Spirit we are convicted (in mind and heart) of our errors/sins and we can choose to repent, or choose to remain in error/sin.
