It’s horrible, there’s no excuse for such evil. The priests involved in these horrible acts must be removed from the Church and turned over to the civil authorities.
I’m not one of them. I believe that Protestants who believe in the life, death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ and believe in His Diety are absolutely Christians.
It’s from the Wit and Wisdom of Richard Nixon written by G.Gordon Liddy.
St. Peter Damian’s works on Sodomy are chilling. But they are put by Catholic publishing houses. There’s nothing to fear in the truth.
S more recent book by Catholic writer Randy Engel called “The Rite of Sodomy” will turn your stomach, but she knows where the bodies are buried.
I want to apologize for being rude to you in an earlier post. I’m sorry.
You’re forgiven.
No hard feelings.
There is NO excuse for any group that names the name of Christ to put up with any sin in the camp. And I know the Catholic church is not alone in that.
And the issue isn’t that it happens. People who are pedophiles will get access to kids no matter how careful someone is to prevent it. Extortionists will find a way to be trusted with money. Adulterers will gain access and take advantage of vulnerable men or women to commit adultery.
IMO, the issue has never been that it happened on occasion. It’s how it was dealt with. Or not.
God is pretty clear in Scripture about dealing with sin within the body, and overall, most churches have been remiss. And we sonder why the church is not walking in the power and effectiveness of the early church. Perhaps (likely) it’s because we aren’t living the kind of godly lives they did in the book of Acts.
I agree 100 percent about how this homo priest scandal was handled. They still left children in an unsafe environment after they knew who the offenders were. It’s really a nightmare, the victims don’t have justice or peace..
Thanks for forgiving me.
Not quite, an FR reader!
—> The priests involved in these horrible acts must be removed
They are known by the church
They are allowed to remain by there church
They are protected by the church
They are the priestood - 50%
They abused children under - at least - the past 4 popes.
They remain in the Vatican today.
That’s very generous of you.
