Wish I had all the pottery in the watercolor by Mulchnik, #13.

Thank you, Dan.
Good Morning Dan, and happy family holiday to all.
We marvel how God’s Word exposes the heart of man, which we all share. Excellent paintings, and helpful lessons.
Greatly appreciate your labors of love, that create this teaching ministry Dan.

Mulchnik’s is my favorite: just lovely.
I would have included you, Alba, as one of the supportive mothers, but I couldn’t find enough art. Should have asked Elisha, I suppose, and it would have poured out.
Some Old Testament “themes” to be repeated later in the New, was interesting.
If you were a mother, Leon, undoubtedly you would be very supportive.
Creative spelling. But your meaning is clear.
Mothers have been supportive since Eve. It’s what they do.
The New Testament in the
Old concealed.
The Old Testament in the
New Revealed.
.
Spell checked okay.
Here is a Bible summary I heard:
Old Testament: Jesus is coming!
Four Gospels: Jesus is here!
New Testament: Jesus is coming back!
You said it! Supportive till my last breath.

Jase Robertson, in this instance.
makes you wonder What God sees’ in US
My take: Those who allow God to save them are granting Him permission thereby to remake them into His vision for us.
#22 is very powerful
I cannot imagine the awful weight Elisha must have felt in having to confront that corpse, but #22 evokes in me a sense of it.
The child grew, and one day he went out to his father, who was with the reapers. "My head! My head!" he said to his father.
(Two heads are better than one.)
In Jewish tradition, the prophet Habakkuk is identified with this son of the [great] Shunamite woman. The concept is based on the similarity of his name to verb "embrace":
16. And he said, About this season, in the coming year, you shall embrace [חֹבֶקֶת] a son; And she said, No, my lord, you man of God, do not lie to your maidservant:
Of course to the ear, this all makes simple sense, just like the famous slogan:
Habakkuk and a smile. Ko'ach adds life.
Meanwhile, in the place named for being the origin of the Sun (as viewed from China):
Rōshi (老師) (Japanese: "old teacher"; "old master"; Chinese pinyin: Lǎoshī) is an honorific title used for a highly venerated senior teacher in Zen Buddhism.
The Japanese rōshi is a translation of the more antiquated Chinese Laozi (Wade-Giles; Lao Tzu) meaning 'Old Master' and connoting the archetype of a wise old man.
And over here:
The Torah is light, as is written, "And Torah is light."[1] The sages explain that the concealed light of the Torah is not the same light, but rather, an additional, double light -- in addition to the light of the Torah itself.
Footnote 1 begins:
1. The soul of Mashiach has two dimensions. One is the enlightenment that all of creation will enjoy; and one is that there will be an individual (or a couple) that will master mind and master heart this giant planetary-scale project of coordinating all of humanity into a single, smoothly operating organism, that will run as efficiently as a person's body.
My head! My head!
Ever experience a burning forehead? It could even spread to the temples. This fire occurred 8-9 Aug, but it's dated here as "Tisha B'Aug"..
On August 9, 2023, a wildfire destroyed approximately 80% of Lahaina.
What's Maui (the "trickster" demigod of Hawaiian lore) looking over, the "Target Isle"?
"Sages who were engaging in discussions about the coming of the Messiah..."
Not to wander off-topic, but in the Jewish writings concerning the arrival of the Messiah, three things come unexpectedly (when the mind is distracted, diverted):
The Messiah, a metzia (a find or bargain), and a scorpion. (Sanhedrin 97a)
In Hawaii, Scorpius is known as the demigod Maui's Fishhook [15] or Ka Makau Nui o Māui (meaning the Big Fishhook of Māui) and the name of the fishhook was Manaiakalani.[16]
Elisha learned a hard lesson: the distributor of God’s blessings is identified with them by the recipients. Followup is required. This is God’s lot, one He anticipated before He began creating.
John is almost always portrayed as a very young man. He must have been the youngest of all the apostles............
