That said I’m not a fan of women preachers. Those I’ve encountered are not very well educated about the Bible.
In the next chapter (God is the author of Scripture but had men write His words) God says “An elder is to be the husband of one wife”. The pastor/teacher would be an elder.
We have female pastors in our ministry and they are more conservative than many of the men. This is especially true of the women who serve as clergy on men’s weekends.
