One of the many aspects of
The Chosen which I value is its treatment of the zeal of the Jewish priests. Like your reporters, they pressed Jesus incessantly, but the show stresses their motives in doing so: a [self-righteous] desire to preserve what God had revealed, all the while failing to understand He had much more to reveal--a point Nicodemus made explicitly to Shmuel.
I've seen that same misguided zeal here on FR in abundance. And those reporters are "full of it".
