First, the Spirit must convince them they are indeed captives. The Chosen highlighted that superbly in S3E3, during Jesus' synagogue sermon: "spiritual debt".

But I’ll check it out.

You are certainly doing it correctly by starting with Season One and taking the episodes sequentially. And if you need subtitles, every episode has them.

Just to explain what distinguishes The Chosen from other biblical accounts: it will be 56 HOURS long (seven seasons times eight episodes per season). That gives the producers enormous time for character development and backstory.

What a delight that he is young and, Lord willing, will continue to produce very fine art. The final products cannot hide the love he has for the subject.
