It’s not disdain.

Oh...it's disdain alright...
Maybe not for you personally...
but disdain Is exactly the word:

noun;
the feeling that someone
or something is unworthy
of one's consideration or respect;

But let me ask you...
Whether symbol or Real;
Do you feel it's necessarily to heed
St. Paul's very specific warning of Cor 11-
To not approach "the bread" UNworthily?
Or can we ignore him on that?

27 So then, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord
in an unworthy manner will be guilty of
sinning against the body and blood of the Lord
.
28 Everyone ought to examine themselves before
they eat of the bread and drink from the cup.
29 For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ
eat and drink judgment on themselves.

I do not approach communion in any manner other than gratitude and live

You’ve already made up your own mind about me because you think otherwise. It’s why we attend different churches

Have a good day
