Two remarkable artists. I am attracted more to the work of the father, his painting of the lute girl is wonderful, full of grace. His meticulous attention to details was so inspiring and pleasing to the eyes that Dutch painters, famous for their amazing renderings of fabrics, improved their craft by studying Orazio’s works.
