Who cares about the day? It is important to gather with like minded believers who read the Scriptures in context to understand the message given to us in the Bible. A brother in our church (where men speak, and women do not. Both groups sing. We have the best documents from antiquity that explains the Gospel to us. One brother explained it like this: “text without context is pretext.” This is why we carefully handle the Bible that was once given to the Church and look for common themes.

>>Who cares about the day?>>>

I can tell you read the Bible. God seemed to care about a day. He blessed and Sanctified in Genesis, he said he “made for man”, he performed miracles on it to show it’s true meaning, he even told his people in the ot not to gather food on it...John saw it in Revelation, the Lord’s day......and uh.....oh, this little one..

It’s the largest of the Ten Commandments, in the middle and reveals his name, title, and territory.......Lord, God, Creator of heaven and earth.....

Yeah...He called himself the LORD OF THE SABBATH....so I think he kind of cares about that. Just a little.

Too bad you weren’t around in the time of Daniel. Desecrating/polluting the Sabbath was the main reason God allowed Babylon to clean Israel’s clock.
