>>>>She’s a hypocrite because the Catholic religion kept worship on Sundays itself.>>>>
Actually, she’s not a hyprocrit. She’s admitting She changed the day. She claims it’s her authority since she stands above scripture. What she is doing is looking at Protestants, who claim to follow the Bible and asking......why aren’t you following the Bible when it comes to the Sabbath? You are following US!
I Like that. She’s honest. Not like Protestants who twist, invent, turn scripture to try and make a Bible case for Sunday. It’s ludicrious. Rome is honest here.
Yes, this is blatant hypocrisy, and blasphemy, to boot.
No denomination is above the written word of God and Catholicism, despite its claims, does not have authority to change Scripture.
“Not like Protestants who twist, invent, turn scripture to try and make a Bible case for Sunday. “
I have never heard great Protestant theolgy to defend the change of the Sabbath to Sunday. It was just one point they were lazy on during the reformatio, accepting Sunday as “tradition”. The reformation Protesant Churches and their descendent Churhces were eclipsed by later Protestants, like the 7th day ZAdventists and others, who went back to the bible and there they find no biblical reason for calling Sunday the Sabbath, for any Christian.
