Amen and Amen!

O Lord, You decisively defeated fallen powers through Your work on the cross, but they are conducting a counter-revolution through wicked souls. They have raised up an evil Beast from roiling seas, its arms are wicked national governments throughout the West. Through the Beast fallen powers desire to devour the world and its people in cataclysmic earthquakes, storms, famine, and disease. Please O Crucified Risen Christ, crush fallen powers and the Beast. Order the powers to the foot of Your cross to await Your judgment and strip from the Beast its powers and self-glorification. Throw it naked into the pits it has dug for the people of the world and grant us Your peace and justice over the whole world. By the power and authority of the Crucified Risen Christ we pray. Amen

Prayer Of Thanks For Christ’s Victory

Heavenly Father, we lift up our voice of praise to You, along with saints down through the ages Who have rejoiced that Jesus Christ won the victory over Satan, sin and death. How we thank You for His crucifixion on the cross, where He paid the price for our sin, and how we bless You for His glorious resurrection, where He broke the power of sin and death, in the lives of all Who trust in Him. We praise and thank You for His glorious victory, which has been echoing down through the ages, and resounding throughout the universe for 2000 years, and we glorify Your holy name that today we know that there is a Man, seated on the right hand of God, in glorious majesty, Lord Jesus Christ the righteous.

We rejoice that His glorious victory has not diminished with the passing of time, but has become a reality in the lives of generations of men and women, who have trusted in the name of Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. And we thank You Father, that His resurrection power is equally as potent in our lives today as it was when He burst forth from the grave, and routed the armies of wickedness forever. Thank You, that the day is coming when Christ’s victory in our mortal bodies will also be complete, and we stand before Him face to face. Until that day, we pray that you would keep us ever looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. In Whose name we pray,
