Where to find the Missing David, Today [on Shavous 5783], along with 'Pakod Yifkod'

As explained at this next link, a tradition about the Secret Code of Redemption is that the Redeemer -- being an outsider -- wouldn't have known the code ("pakod yifkod" פקד יפקד).

There is an anomaly in the verse in the KJV where David is going to go missing, but then will be conspicuous by his absence*. (If anyone is conspicuous on account of his absence, it's the Messiah. Where is he? What's taking so long?)

There are 4 verses where "David" is in the English, but not in the Hebrew text (1 Sam 20:18; 2 Sam 13:37; 1 Chr 23:5; 1 Chr 28:19). Three are italicized as is the pattern, but the first is not italicized, as if he's really there in 20:18.

A total search of Strong's H1732 (through Blue Letter Bible) returns this (includes the Davids spelled with a yud):

(1076 is the sum of "Targum of Seventy"; i.e. the LXX, and Jerusalem spelled out by all the letters)

Now, through "Advanced Options" -- searching specific ranges -- "H1732" will appear along with "David" in 1 Sam 20:18, as if he's there.

In the Christian order of books, Ruth precedes Samuel. Here's the search result set to start with Ruth:

Many translations simply read, "And Jonathan said to him", because that's simply what it says. There's no apparent need to clarify who "him" is. Yet in this lone verse, "David" is not italicized in other verses. He's there without having to be there.

brings me back to the 50 -- today, Shavuos, the day of arrival. The traditional DAY of David's birthday. And back to David in English...

When an English name is written in Hebrew, it's written as it sounds in English. Hebrew David is spelled דוד, but the English name David is spelled as DAY-vid:

Concerning Michelangelo's David. The first two sculptors abandoned the project. The Cararra marble was deemed flawed and difficult to work with.

Yet the stone the first two sculptors rejected became the most famous statue in the world.

Scholars have their explanations and justifications, but one of the curious and notorious details [that regular people notice] is that Michelangelo's David is, well... a Gentile.

It's like that meme (something repeated over and over because it's funny), "Don't make me come down there", because that's the secret code (pakod yifkod) of Redemption:

Which explains how the verb "pakad" means to visit, as well as Punish. Some kind of secret language, for those who are able to laugh.

This is the dimension of Torah, of Divine understanding, of true freedom. It is where Israel transcends to truly become one with God.

God is no respecter of persons or nations. What rebellious man (Jew & Gentile) hate is to be told what God requires of him.

Israel (Jews) and Gentiles will not and cannot find salvation, truth, Shalom - outside of Jesus the Messiah. This in not my opinion, it's God's Word!

For those who reject the authority of the New Testament, I pray their heart be open to Truth and that Truth resonate in their heart, so that Truth becomes the compass for their life.

David is located in Florence, the city where Michelangelo and Galileo Galilei are buried. Galileo is the guy famous for his "cylinder" (galil), and all the celestial land that it would reveal. Once I had learned that Galileo Galilei had been born in Pisa, I knew I wouldn't forget, because it's the place famous for its leaning... cylinder. It was meant to be:

Back at 1 Sam 20:18, the text in the King James that claims to be "to David" is "to him", לו. He's there, without having to be there, unless of course there's some kind of peril, which is associated with dialing 911, as the search terms indicate in the main body of this thread.

Nothing new about that:

Because Abraham's God owns time and is the Master of orchestration, life can imitate art no problem. Life follows after the living parables, and even art imitates art in its time, right in the heart of the Galut of Edom, at the Gates of Rome.

Or, how could an outsider know the double "pei code" of Redemption. Perhaps his merciful younger brother -- who would have gotten the idea from his soulmate -- whispered it to him, to save him major shame and humiliation. That would have been a huge risk, because maybe no one would ever trust him again. That level of sacrifice and kindness could even bring an end to a much greater exile. Would God be able to argue with that? Why hasn't anyone ever thought of that?

Everything ultimately has a good reason. Otherwise the cosmos (the ordered universe) would collapse, turning the whole business of Creation into an oxymoron.

This is the secret of dovor v'hipucho, a "thing and its opposite" since Shlomo HaMelech knew what a fool is thinking, he was able to understand what wisdom is.

The fact that we are described as "back to back" and then "face to face" is an incredible lesson. Often, when we feel angry, hurt, abandoned, whatever the root of our pain may be, we turn our back. When our back is turned, we have no idea of the state of the other. And it is often easier to believe that we are not the only one with a turned back. It is easier to think the other also turned around, that the other isn't facing us at all, because if that is the case, then even if we turn around it won't help, so why bother. Why make that first move only to turn around and see the back of the other?

What's the functioning level of observance out there, in the greater scheme of all things? It's enough to make a mother weep.

Now, because the 'Messiah at the Gates of Rome' narrative appears along with the description of the letter nun/50, the same place as the explanation for the name Yinon and the phrase 'bar nafli', you (Phinneous in particular, "who is Eliyahu") may find this of interest (this, being a living parable in real time):

Mashiach, a descendant of David, is called a bar nafli, literally translated as the "son of one who has fallen,"

Not to reject or replace the association to David [as the fallen one], because a person has both a father and a mother, and

1. Rachel Imenu is the "Mother of all Israel"
2. Rachel died in childbirth.

Which is to say, Rachel is one who has fallen, dying where David was born. She named her second son Benoni, but not like anyone says much about that. The name and its spirit ["son of my sorrows/exertion/vigor"] departed along with Rachel.

There must have been a good reason for that.

On the Road Again. It's truly a "signature song" of Willie Nelson* [וילי נלסון]. He's not just a American treasure (for those who can look past the weed and assorted troubles to recognize the immense God-given talent that he brought to fruition), his name = Rachel [רחל] + David [דוד]. Nice 'shout out' with the beginning + end letters of Willie's name spelling 'Yinon' ינון (last first, first last).

* Nelson is a patronymic surname meaning "son of Nell," a form of the Irish name Neal, from the Gaelic Niall, which is thought to mean "champion." In some situations the surname could also be matronymic...

For, as the Arizal and the Maharal teach, dying is a relative concept. The concept of "dying" is also used to describe the transformation from one reality to another, like a child who evolves into an adolescent. In such a case, the childhood is said to have "died" as the stage of adolescence is said to been born.

The Ultimate Mother
As stated, our Matriarch Rachel was the ultimate mother. She understands that one can have a deep spiritual and values-based world even without having children, but she senses that she is missing the "main thing." She believes that in order to build a complete world of spirit and values, she must be able to actualize her ability to give. The mother grants her children warmth and love, and takes care of all their needs.
Rachel teaches us the value of children: "Grant me children, and if not, I am dead!" The Ingathering of the Exiles of Israel happens in Rachel's merit. But throughout the years before this, before Israel reaches its complete Redemption, Rachel feels it -- and worries, cries, and prays. Even after her death, "Rachel is weeping over her children" (Yirmiyahu 31,14).

Memorial Day: Remembering our fallen heroes.

What's the functioning level of observance out there, in the greater scheme of all things? It's enough to make a mother weep.

For those of you who have been with me on these many adventures though words, history, traditions, maps, memes, movies, imagery and all the rest, you might recall information about the place of first light on the USA; namely the summer location, where the first sunrise on the lower 48 occurs from March 25th to Sept 18th: MarsHill (mountain), ME.

At that location are many interesting features, such as the lone address on the mountain: 37 Graves, which is the Big Rock, the place for ascending and descending, ascending and descending over and over. Here's the map for anyone who might be curious how that is possible.

And also, a company named First Wind put up this first wind farm in Maine, with its 28 turbines, in order to generate power (just not in the way they would have expected). The cost was $85 mil. What did they think the location represented, the Book of Ruth? The cost of Ingenuity? Its own book?

First Light. First Wind... same first place the new US flag of 50 had been raised, at sunrise on July 4th, 1960.

Also in review, the numeral "28" not only spells the Hebrew word "power" (ko'ach), the turbines' access road is split such that 20 of the turbines are accessed from the south (to the right when facing east), and the other 8 from the north. Together, when the viewer-reader faces east, they spell out ko'ach [כח]: kaf + chet, 20 and 8.

The sitework and installation for the 28 turbines had been done by a Maine construction company named Reed & Reed.
